Need a textbook? I recommend these:
There is a Schaum's Outline Series book for dozens of math courses.
They give you the information you need about a math subject without
overwhelming you with unnecessary details. Throughout my student
career, when I didn't understand something from my assigned math textbook,
I turned to Schaum's.
For the Praxis II Math exam, if you feel you need a textbook, I recommend
these: College Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Discrete Math.
Unfortunately, as good as the Schaum's books are, they are not specifically
designed for the Praxis exams. They don't take the same approach that
you as a Praxis exam-taker need to take. Nevertheless, if you need a
book, these are the ones to get. They are paperback, they're not expensive,
and they even can be found used.
Don't want to carry the whole Schaum's book around? Have a few spare minutes when you can study? The amazing Amazon Kindle 2, at 8" x 5.3" x 0.36" and 10.2 ounces, lets you study anywhere. The following Schaum's books are the Kindle edition.
